Ball and Buck is an all organic, all American made lifestyle company. We provide our customers with unique and personalized clothing articles that represent traditional American style while being made with environmentally friendly organic cotton. Our core product, the Original Organic Pocket Tee combines 100% certified organic cotton shirts with a vintage, recycled, organic, or specialty fabric pocket which is specially made for each Ball and Buck customer. Unknown to most consumers, conventional cotton uses 50% of all of the pesticides used in the USA yet only occupies 10% of its crop land; thus making conventional cotton extremely harmful to the environment. Another way to think about it is that every t shirt and jeans combination uses over 1lb of pesticides in its production. Now think about all of the clothes you and your friends have at home. What you realize is that there is a tremendous amount of toxic chemicals being poured into the land, air, and water sources around the world which are responsible for health defects which range from asthma to cancer. Our 100% certified organic cotton is produced with NO dangerous pesticides and does not cause harm to the environment or the cotton farmers. Besides protecting the environment with each purchase, our customers take pride knowing that all Ball and Buck products are made in the USA. The Ball and Buck product line began with the organic pocket tee in crew cut style but then expanded to offer v-neck, long sleeve, girl cut, and tennis shirt in order to satisfy the demands of our customers. Using the college base as our target market, we wanted to offer a solution to students who were aware of the need to live an environmentally friendly way but did not want become an environmental activist. Our solution is Ball and Buck products which solve the major problem of cotton farming, without forcing consumers to change their unique style. All Ball and Buck products are made in the USA avoiding outsourcing (even though it would save the company money)in order to instill a sense of pride in Ball and Buck products, and reduce our company’s carbon footprint. Ball and Buck is the first sustainable lifestyle brand to incorporate socially and environmentally responsible practices to create affordable and one-of-a-kind products which enable consumers to use their personalized style to help the world around us.
Thank You Very Much for your support!

Nominate Ball and Buck: http://www.businessweek.com/smallbiz/young_entrepreneurs/poll.html#
About the Company:
Name: Ball and Buck
Website: www.ballandbuck.com
About: Ball and Buck is the first sustainable lifestyle brand to incorporate socially and environmentally responsible practices to create affordable and one-of-a-kind products which enable consumers to change the world using their personal style as the catalyst.
What is Ball and Buck all about?
What are you wearing right now? If you are wearing a shirt and pants, you alone have contributed over one pound of pesticides and insecticides into the environment. Now look around you, look at your colleagues, your friends. Are they wearing shirts and pants too? Think about how many pounds of toxic chemicals have been poured into the environment for just the clothes on the backs of the people around you. Conventional cotton farming is one of the most detrimental practices for the environment yet millions of consumers live their lives completely oblivious to this staggering fact. Our company, Ball and Buck, was founded in 2008 to end this stifling misconception.

AMERICAN idol
SO EXCITED.

Now, dear Ball and Buck blog readers, my only question for you is :
[actually, lies, I have TWO questions for you]
1. Which Show of the American Idol Tour are you going to? [i'm think DC, Boston, Philly, etc...]
2. HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET KRIS ALLEN TO WEAR A POCKET - TEE?
Consider the "Get Kris Allen to Perform in a Ball and Buck Pocket Tee While on Tour" Campaign officially launched.
